Member Spotlight: Linda Maier
One of our 2011 Early Bird Impact 100 members!
Linda joined Impact 100 for the simple reason to have the opportunity to influence/”impact” a non-profit via a meaningful grant. This greatly appealed to Linda. More importantly, though, honoring her mother, via an additional contribution was a powerful factor for involvement.

Linda’s mother, Blanche, believed we are all called to “impact” our community. She was tireless and passionate about her community and her family. The ability to contribute to Impact 100, in her name, just seemed appropriate. Blanche was an Impact member for several years prior to her passing.

After leaving the family business several years ago, Linda, subsequently, has spent these last years as the primary care-giver to her father and mother as they battled their respective illnesses. Their courageous fight and grace through their sickness will forever be etched in her heart. She is blessed to have had such incredible heroes that she is proud to call her parents.

Linda has long been on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Cincinnati Boys & Girls Clubs (13 yrs.) and formerly on the Board of St. Joseph Home (6 yrs.) Now, because of Linda’s mother’s former involvement in Impact 100, she has the opportunity to honor her mother in a special way that will “live on” by being an Impact 100 member herself.

Welcome, Linda!
