Thanks for your feedback!
One of the jobs of the Impact 100 Board is to continually evaluate what works, what doesn’t, and to change what we can to improve our member experiences. Over the past year here are some of the comments you have shared and the steps the Board has taken to incorporate your feedback:
- Connect with past recipients more: At each event this year a past recipient has generously offered their time to update the attendees on the impact of their Impact 100 grant. Barbara Howard, of Redwood Rehabilitation Center (’04) center spoke at the wine tasting in June; Dr. Val Krugh, Economic Center (’09) spoke at the Class of 2010 gathering in March, as well as the Finalist announcement in August; Roland Kocsis, of Lighthouse Youth Services (’09) spoke at “Feeding the Impact soul” in February, as well as the Finalist announcement in August; Dr. Judy Allen, McMicken Dental Clinic (’02) spoke at the golf outing in May. Members and guests at these events have enjoyed these updates.
- Offer gatherings around various locations in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky: The Member Kickoff was at the Carnegie Center in Northern Kentucky. We had a wine tasting in Oakley, a golf outing in Loveland, and a house warming in Clifton. The Finalists Announcement was in Indian Hill, and the Annual Awards Celebration will be downtown.
- Help all five agencies, even those who don’t receive a grant: We added a new event in October — Wishing Well — to help fulfill finalist wish lists and allow members to learn more about the needs and volunteer opportunities of the five finalists. - Increase grant applications from applicants across the region: We added a new Board position, Non-Profit Outreach Coordinator, to increase awareness of Impact 100 grants in Butler, Clermont, Warren, Adams, Dearborn, Campbell, Kenton, and Boone counties.
Thank you for offering feedback and allowing us the opportunity to help enhance your member experience. Your membership satisfaction is extremely important and leads to stronger member retention. You can help us award three grants in 2011 by renewing your membership, by joining, and by telling friends about Impact 100. Please let us know if you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear them!
