Thank you to each of you who joined Impact 100 for 2012! I am happy to report that we will award two grants of $107,500 each in September 2012. It is also exciting that we have 300 women involved for 2012. I am proud to report that Impact 100 had a retention rate of over 80% from 2011 to 2012.
With your membership you are able to be as involved as you wish. Please check out the different opportunities available including grant review committees, membership activities, newsletter, grant recipient follow up and “one and done” projects. Within this month’s newsletters are the specifics related to each of the grant review meetings — meeting times and days and contact information for each Chair. In addition, you may always inquire about opportunities by emailing
info@impact100.org.
For 2012, great events are planned for you enabling you to network, socialize and learn more about Impact 100 and the greater Cincinnati philanthropic community. Different events are planned for the last Wednesday of each month — please mark your calendars and join us! Check out each of the events in this newsletter.
Also, the first Grant Review Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, March 8th from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Fifth Third Operations Center in Madisonville. For those of you who are new or unfamiliar with the grant review process — this meeting gathers all grant review committee members together for training on reading grant applications, discussion of the Community Investment Review Committee (CIRC), meet the Chair of your committee and fellow members and receipt of the grant applications for you to review.
I am looking forward to a great 2012 as Impact 100 enters into its 11th year of grant making. Again, thank you for your 2012 Impact 100 and your commitment to making a difference in our community.
