As Impact 100 grows, evolves, and improves, we are always looking for ways to better serve our non-profit community. On January 23rd Impact 100 held a Lunch & Learn and invited all the local non-profit agencies. The meeting was a panel discussion in which recent winners of the Impact 100 grant shared what they felt made their application successful and what steps they took to prepare their application.
Panelists included:
- Goeff Hollenbeck from Lighthouse Youth Services
- Peggy Kriemer of Stepping Stones
- Tracey Zwick of Dress for Success
- Denny Rogers from Safe Haven Farms
- Dr. Val Krugh of Economics Center for Education and Research
The panel took questions from an interested and eager audience. There was a wide range of questions and the panelists offered information on how they came up with an project that would fit Impact 100’s guidelines, unique things they did in writing this grant application that they do not usually do and what they learned from having applied previously.
