Over thirty members and guests gathered at the Oakley Wine Store on June 10th to sample some great wines, enjoy some good company and learn more about Impact. Barbara Howard, Executive Director of Redwood joined us for a brief update.
Barbara told the crowd that due to their winning the 2004 grant, they feed over 600 disabled children and adults at their serving line in the cafeteria each week. Without the grant, they would not have been able to have a serving line included in the 2004–2005 update of their facility. Barbara made it clear that the grant will benefit people with disabilities for decades.
